cross burnings

Wednesday night the Durham landscape was lit up by three flaming crosses. The fires were quickly put out, but the effects of that message of hate are still being felt. Federal and state agencies continue to investigate the incident as the NAACP makes a statement and the Ku Klux Klan denies responsibility.
