Brooklyn-based Attorney, Sanford Rubenstein, filed the suit on behalf of the Queens parents claiming the city was negligent in hiring the assistant principal, Nancy Miller.
As punishment for a fight only a few of the students were involved in, Miller forced all the students from the only bilingual class at P.S. 34 to sit on the floor and eat lunch with their hands back in March. She allegedly said she would treat them like animals like in their native country.
