Why Microsoft's attack on local radio doesn't matter

Some folks seem to be upset by the fact that Microsoft is 'pirating the playlists' of local radio stations around the country for it's new music service.I am more bothered by the fact that Microsoft gives a rat's ass about what local radio stations play. Note to Bill: They all play the same thing!

Indie musicians need to be asking these new internet music retailers how to get there songs for sale on them (I know Prisa offers this service) and more importantly, on their radio stations as well.

The fact that radio has lost 25% of it's teenage audience in the last five years tells you that local radio has bigger problems...
